Welcome to Student Voice South Africa
Student Voice is an
exciting new organisation working to be the
representative body for all students. We are
committed to the idea that students’ views
should be considered in all decision-making: in
their school, in their community, and on a
national level.
Student Voice Schools is for schools who support
these goals and want to improve their student
voice practice. The project is co-delivered by
The Power Of Choice Foundation South Africa , a
leadership training academy which has been
providing training services to
schools for many years.
Aims
:The Student Voice leaders have recently come up
with Four aims that the organization will
achieve:
1) Represent the diversity of students in South
Afica as stakeholders in their educational
systems.
2) Provide a space for students to come together
to share and discuss ideas about their
education.
3) Represent students’ interests in the policy
making that affects their education.
4) Provide students with the skills to impact
their educational communities.
